Workshops
Welcome! These workshops are built around the ideas, materials, and questions that drive my own studio practice. After more than 20 years of teaching visual arts I’ve come to believe that the most meaningful art-making happens when we slow down, observe closely, and stay curious about the world around us.
These aren’t step-by-step “how to draw” classes. Instead, they’re concept-based courses that invite you to explore themes like memory, place, perception, and human impact. You’ll experiment with accessible materials, develop your own visual language, and connect with others who are thinking through similar ideas. Artists, educators, and thoughtful beginners are all welcome.
